100g pinkish stone pieces in a bag. Thulite is a pink-red colored zoisite specialty from Norway. Results in a very lightfast and binder-resistant pigment. As a pigment Thulit has a graininess and hardness that make it difficult to use in aqueous techniques such as watercolor and tempera. In acrylic, on the other hand, thulite can be processed excellently. The pigment is also resistant enough for lime and silicate techniques. We do not recommend this pigment for oil, as its hardness makes it difficult to work with and it dries poorly.
