Crafting one collar takes a Maasai Mama about a day, while a belt requires two days of dedicated beading. The beads are carefully hand-sewn onto the first layer of leather, followed by the addition of high-quality hardware and a second leather layer, which is glued and stitched for added softness and durability. Our Maasai Mamas are encouraged to infuse each piece with their personal artistic touch, preserving the rich heritage and cultural integrity of their work.
