The Czech Pistole Modell 27 or VZ 27 in military use was designed after experiences during WW1, they elected to use a smaller caliber for ease of use and lighter weight, also allowing for a simplified direct blowback design. This pistol was manufactured from 1927 throughout the German occupation during WW2 and saw continued use until the 1960’s. this example appears to have been made during the German occupation with the slide marking “Böhmische Waffenfabrik AG in Prag” as well as a waffenampt on the barrel breech and right side of the frame. Overall condition is fair to good, with light pitting on the slide and frame, bit a very good to excellent bore. Mechanical function appears good.
