Way too simple for a 6,7,or 8 year oldI homeschool my son and the curriculum we use does not focus on measuring yet so I thought i would supplement his curriculum because he is interested in building so needs to learn the basics of a ruler. For a child who does not even know what a ruler is this book would be too simple. More than half of the book is not even measuring at all it is just showing pages of lines and having the child look at it and use an estimate for which line is longer. Honestly, it is a big waste of money. You could easily accomplish what this book accomplished by making your own worksheets and having your child measure things or just by measuring things around the house.
